It's the year after the Triwizard Tournament and the students are back at Hogwarts. As usual, they have a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge from the Ministry of Magic. It's clear almost right away that the students won't be learning anything they need from her. Even if not everyone believes that the Dark Lord has returned, they do agree that they are in need of a proper teacher. Harry, along with Ron and Hermione, have started Dumbledore's Army, but the majority of the Slytherins have joined Professor Umbridge in her quest to figure out what the hell Harry Potter is up to.
The Ministry is in denial, and the Dark Lord has returned. Friendships will be tested as the balance between good and evil is thrown off.
