Shu Jing is a town situated on a cliff above a river and waterfalls, and surrounded by beautiful mountains, this is one of the many small, peaceful villages that are tucked away throughout the Fire Nation islands.

Ember Island is the most beautiful resort area located in the outer islands of the Fire Nation. Set amongst palm trees and luscious vegetation, it is home to many luxurious resorts and vacation homes for the wealthy and powerful. The private beaches are surrounded by mountains and dunes which create a private atmosphere for visitors.

Hing Wa Island is a tropical island located within the Fire Nation archipelago. The island is at least locally known for its crop of Ash Bananas, a greyish fruit closely related to the yam.

On this island, it is rumored that dragons live and breed here. The only way to get there is to fly due to ships mysteriously sinking around the island.

Ryu is the Southern most point of the Fire Nation. This rather large city is known for its fishing and produce industry. Ryu is also known for being one of the most lush places in the entire Fire Nation.

Omashu is the second largest city in the Earth Kingdom and the capital of one of its provinces. Earthbenders built the city several centuries ago by carving it out of a mountain.

A large and well known village throughout the Earth Kingdom. Many people pass through Garsai, making it a central hub for trade. It is located on top of a large hill.

Makapu Village is a small farming village located in the northwestern Earth Kingdom on the slopes of the supposed dormant Mt. Makapu.

Shozin is a moderately large village that harbors one of the largest anit-Avatar movements throughout the Earth Kingdom. The people here are extreme in their views and often protest the Avatar and anyone who follows the Avatar.

This small village was the home of Avatar Li Yung and is where she is now remembered by old friend and descendants.

The Si Wong Desert is the largest desert in the world. It is known as the driest and hottest place in the world, and is almost impossible to successfully navigate. It is also sparsely inhabited by Sandbender Tribes.

These are the icy, dangerous waters of the Norther Water Tribe. You either have to be lucky or skillful to travel through this sea.

Originally, the Water Tribe existed solely in the North Pole. However, following civil unrest, a group of warriors, benders, and healers ventured to the South Pole to bring about a new tribe. Due to the division, the two sects evolved quite differently. The Souther Water Tribe is now a large, beautiful city just as magnificent as the Northern Tribe's.

These are the fridgid Southern waters where you are likely to find the proud civilization of the Southern Water Tribe.

The Foggy Swamp Tribe's ancestry lies in the Southern Water Tribe. Hundreds of years ago a group migrated from the Southern Tribe and found the swamp. Feeling comfortable with the large amount of water, they decided to stay. This information, however, has been lost to both tribes resulting in neither of the two knowing about the other.

The Eastern Air Temple is one of the four temples of the Air Nomads, and one of the two which exclusively houses female Airbenders. The Eastern Air temple is housed on three separate mountains, connected by bridges.

Whale Tail Island is a large island situated off of the Southwestern coast of the Earth Kingdom and among the Southern Air Nomad archipleago. The island gets it name from its distinctive shape, which on maps bares an uncanny resemblance to a whale's tail.

The Southern Air Temple, being thousands of years old, was one of the four temples of the Air Nomads, and one of the two exclusively housing male Airbenders. The temple is large and peaceful, has an Air Temple Sanctuary in which reside numerous statues of past Avatars.
